The Patio Villa represents a pioneering residential prototype designed as a sustainable architecture model for the United Arab Emirates. This pilot project showcases Italian design excellence through meticulous attention to detail, premium materials, curated furnishings, and sophisticated indoor-outdoor integration.
Climate-Responsive Architecture
Specifically engineered for the Emirates’ extreme climate, the villa features a dual-layer design approach: an exterior shell that shields against intense heat and solar radiation while ensuring maximum privacy, paired with an interior characterized by openness and permeability that invites natural light and creates seamless connections with outdoor living spaces.
Multi-Level Outdoor Living
The villa’s volumetric composition establishes three distinct outdoor zones at staggered heights:
– Ground-floor patios for private outdoor relaxation
– First-floor terraces offering elevated outdoor entertainment
– Rooftop terrace providing panoramic views
These spaces interconnect through a continuous circulation path formed by two linear staircases along adjacent perimeter walls, creating an “outdoor Raumplan”—a vertical sequence of exterior rooms at varying elevations.
