ADD Aquilano Design Division is the new Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Design branch of Studioaquilano, a Naval Engineering company founded in 2008 by Saverio Aquilano—an engineer and naval architect with solid managerial expertise gained over more than 25 years of experience.

The educational and professional backgrounds of our collaborators enable us to offer integrated solutions across a wide range of building types. They have worked in Italy and in renowned international studios in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Spain, where they were involved in the design of both public and private buildings. They have contributed to major projects and competitions for universities, cultural spaces, concert halls, residences, resorts, commercial spaces, and building renovations. Beyond architectural design, they have also gained experience in planning, urban regeneration masterplans, and open-space design.

In interior design, the qualities of Made in Italy are our reference point: this is why we strive for meticulous attention to every detail, offering solutions where aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency come together in perfect balance. With the support of trusted consultants, ADD has the expertise to follow a project through every stage—from concept to construction documents—and supports clients throughout the entire process, including maintenance.

The Sustainable Architecture background of several team members allows us to propose integrated solutions focused on optimizing a building’s energy model, from the efficiency of its envelope to the reduction of energy consumption. Research is the cornerstone of our design methodology, as we believe it is essential for developing innovative, high-quality projects that meet our clients’ expectations while respecting regulations, program requirements, budget, and environmental considerations.
